Privacy Policy
Ravel Apparel owns and operates this website, and this page explains how we handle personal information when you browse the site, send an inquiry, request a quote, or work with us on an apparel order. Read it before you share any details with our team, so you know what we ask for, why we ask, and who sees it.

Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to answer you and run an order properly. Most of it comes straight from you.
Contact details: Your name, business email address, phone number, company name, and business or shipping address.
Inquiry details: The garment types you want, fabric and trim preferences, sizing, artwork, tech packs, sample notes, order quantities, delivery dates, and anything else you send while asking for a price.
Order and transaction records: Purchase orders, invoices, billing details, payment status, shipping documents, and the records we keep for each job.
Messages: Emails, form submissions, and chats with our sales or production staff, including attachments.
Website usage data: If analytics or similar tools are active on this site, we may receive your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and basic error reports.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health records, government ID numbers, or biometric details, and you should not send them to us. If you share information about your own staff or customers while placing an order, you are responsible for having the right to pass it on.
How We Use Personal Information
Everything listed above supports a working business relationship. Our team uses it to:
- Reply to questions and send quotations.
- Talk through specifications, fabric options, costing, and minimum order quantities.
- Prepare proposals, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Arrange sampling, bulk production, quality checks, packing, and shipping.
- Send and reconcile payment instructions.
- Update you on timelines, delays, or changes to an order.
- Keep accounting and business records as the law requires.
- Spot fraud, block abuse, and keep the site working.
- Fix broken pages and improve how the site performs.
We do not sell your details. We do not build advertising profiles from your inquiries, and no automated system decides anything significant about you.
Payments and Financial Information
Ravel Apparel accepts four payment methods: direct bank transfer, Zelle, ACH transfer, wire transfer, and check.
Our banking instructions appear on the invoice we send you, so you push the payment from your side. We do not run a payment gateway on this website, and no card numbers, PayPal accounts, or digital wallet details are collected here. Please do not email such details to us.
What stays with us is the paperwork around the payment: the invoice, the amount, the date, the reference number, the remitter name shown on the transfer, and the bank’s confirmation.
Checks are handled through our bank in the normal way, and we keep a record of the check number and the deposit. Your full account credentials and online banking logins stay with your bank. We never ask for them, and nobody from Ravel Apparel will phone or email you asking for a password or a one-time code.
If you ever receive banking instructions that look different from the ones printed on your invoice, stop and call your usual contact at Ravel Apparel before sending money.
Cookies and Website Technologies
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site may use them to:
- Keep basic pages and forms working.
- Count visits and see which pages people read.
- Remember a setting you picked, such as a language or a closed notice.
The exact cookies in use depend on the tools installed on the site at the time, and the current list is confirmed in our cookie notice. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.
Blocking the ones needed for core functions may stop a form or a page from loading correctly. We do not run retargeting pixels to follow you around other websites.
How We Share Personal Information
Your details stay inside our business except where an outside party is needed to do the job. That can include:
- Technology providers: Website hosting, email, file storage, and IT support services that run our systems.
- Banks and financial institutions: The banks on both ends of a transfer, ACH payment, wire, or check.
- Logistics partners: Freight forwarders, couriers, and customs brokers who need the consignee name, address, and contact number to deliver your goods.
- Production partners: Where a specialist process such as printing, embroidery, or washing is handled by a vetted partner, we pass on only the artwork and instructions that job needs.
- Advisers: Accountants, auditors, and lawyers, when there is a proper reason.
- Authorities: Where a law, court order, or tax rule requires disclosure, or where we need to defend a legal claim.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade mailing lists. Everyone we hand information to is expected to use it only for the task we gave them.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as it serves the purposes described here. An active customer file stays with us through the order and the warranty or claim period that follows. Accounting records, invoices, and shipping documents are held for the period that tax and company law requires.
Inquiries that never turn into orders are cleared from our active systems once they are clearly dead, unless we need them for a dispute. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it or strip out the parts that identify a person.
Data Security
Access to customer files is limited to the staff who need them for their work. Accounts are password-protected, company systems sit behind standard access controls, and our hosting and email providers apply their own protections on their side. Paper records such as signed documents are kept in locked storage at our office.
No website, email system, or internet connection is completely safe, and we cannot promise that information sent to us will never be intercepted. Send anything confidential through a channel you trust, and tell us if you think an account or an email thread has been tampered with.
International Data Transfers
Ravel Apparel works across the United States and Pakistan, and our production, sales, and support teams are based in both places. Your details may therefore be viewed and stored in a country other than your own, including on servers run by our hosting and email providers.
Privacy laws differ from one country to the next. Wherever your information travels, the handling rules in this policy still apply, and we expect the same standard from the providers we use.
Your Privacy Rights
The rights you hold depend on where you live and which law covers you. Depending on that, you may be able to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
- Request a copy of certain information you gave us.
- Object to a particular use, or ask us to limit it.
- Withdraw consent where we relied on your consent.
- Complain, or appeal our answer, where the law gives you that option.
To make a request, email our privacy contact with your name, your company, and a clear description of what you want. We may ask a question or two to confirm who you are before we act, since releasing data to the wrong person causes real harm.
We answer within the time the applicable law sets. Some requests cannot be granted in full, for example where a record must be kept for tax or legal reasons, and we will tell you plainly when that happens and why.
Children’s Privacy
This website and our services are built for businesses, brands, and trade buyers, not for children. We do not aim any part of the site at children, and we do not knowingly gather their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us details, write to us, and we will remove the record.
Third-Party Websites
Our pages may link to outside sites, such as a partner, a courier’s tracking page, or a social media profile. Once you click through, you are on their property and their own privacy terms apply. Read them if you plan to share anything there. We have no control over how those sites collect or use data.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
Business practices, tools, and laws change, and this policy changes with them. The current version always sits on this page with the effective date at the top.
Where a change affects your rights in a meaningful way, we will say so clearly on the site or in a direct message. Looking at this page before you send a new inquiry is a simple habit worth keeping.
